Removing Toxic People is Self-love

According to Caroline Kirk, self-love requires you to be honest about your current choices and thought patterns and undertake new practices that reflect self-worth. But, have you ever heed or even care about your own self-worth by loving yourself?

Self-love is not all about how you accept yourself the way you are, or how you pamper yourself. What you did to your body, how you treat it. But it should include your spirit and mind as well. How your mind coule affect the whole package of you. You have heard a commercial that says, "beauty inside fresh outside" right? That's how your body goes.

Some might think that self loving count as being selfish because you prioritize yourself, but NO. In some cases clearing out yourself from negative surroundings or even people is counted as self-love. Saving you from negative vibes that leads you to always having a negative thoughts.

So, does removing toxic people in life counted as self-love? Of course. You are saving yourself, your mind, your spirit, your body. I once used to always hold my self for not speaking up whenever something happen. I let people think whatever about me, by judging. Or worst, my very closest people that still has ''blood'' with my parents, judged them.

But after years later, I get older and understand everything, I started to realized that I'm torturing myself. Sometimes, holding up yourself even for the intention of not making it into a 'war' is not right. You need to speak up! Not to give vengence but to protect yourself. Lack of self-love could ruined your mental health as well.

Your health, mentally and spiritually, is the two most important aspect you should pay attention to. When people or your surroundings is toxic enough for you, remove them. Or simply just take yourself out from that negative surroundings. Even from our inner circle? Yes, even from your own inner circle. Your colleagues, relatives, neighborhoods, or maybe even from your family members. Because blood means nothing sometimes. Keep a distant.

What is the purpose of keeping toxic people in life, anyway? Your happiness matter the most. You can never feel happy when you don't let yourself be. Happiness is not something that always come by itself. Its an emotion that you should create by letting it in, you can never feel it when the door is closed.

Once you feel happy, your mind will transfer positive energy to your body. hence you will feel good. Just like one of Georges St Pierre's quotes that says, "if you look good, you feel good. And if you feel good, you do good."

We only live once.
But once is enough if you love yourself right.
One said, "don't let people guilt you into being in contact with someone who is not good for your mental health."

 With love,
